The problems with fuel that people require to heat the houses in winter strictly emerged in the twentieth century. To follow the specified requirements in heat insulting, external wall should have thickness: 50 centimeters for squared timber walls, 150 centimeters for brick walls and for wooden carcass only 15 centimeters.

In building this method of construction is named Canadian. The very first frame constructions were made in Canada. The term “sandwich” that emerged in the early 1990-s describes this feature of panel houses.
